The American Brain Coalition (ABC) is a nonprofit organization comprised of the United States’ leading professional neurological, psychological, and psychiatric associations and patient organizations. Together, we seek to advance the understanding of the functions of the brain, and to reduce the burden of brain disorders through public education and advocacy.
Coalition for National Science Funding
The Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) is an alliance of over 130 professional organizations, universities and businesses united by a concern for the future vitality of the national science, mathematics, and engineering enterprise. CNSF supports the goal of increasing the national investment in the National Science Foundation’s research and education programs in response to the unprecedented scientific, technological and economic opportunities facing the United States.
Friends of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism
Friends of NIAAA (FoNIAAA) is dedicated to supporting NIAAA in its work to reduce alcohol-related problems and will highlight and disseminate the findings of NIAAA’s programs and help to develop policies…. [through] supporting research in a wide range of scientific areas including genetics, neuroscience, epidemiology, end organ damage, health risks and benefits of alcohol consumption, prevention, treatment and recovery; coordinating and collaborating with other research institutes and programs on alcohol-related issues; collaborating with international, national, state and local entities engaged in alcohol-related work; [and] translating and disseminating research findings to health care providers, prevention professionals, researchers, policymakers and the public.

Friends of the National Institute on Aging
The FoNIA is a broad coalition of organizations committed to the advancement of health sciences research that could affect millions of older Americans. FoNIA supports the research and training missions of the National Institute on Aging and serves as a bridge between the NIA and supportive organizations and groups in order to promote and advocate for the NIA and its initiatives as public policies in health and research take shape.
