FABBS submitted comments in response to a Request for Information (RFI) on Developing a Roadmap for the Directorate for Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships at the NSF.
In the response, FABBS encourages TIP to be aspirational. FABBS articulated two overarching recommendations, encouraging knowledge mobilization and for the directorate to consider the user when pursuing use-inspired science. Additionally, FABBS highlighted key technology areas for the Directorate including understanding bias and cybersecurity.
