Connecting Research to Policy at the Nexus of Health and Education
Wednesday, February 17 at 11:30 am ET

This FABBS webinar will feature Zewelanji N. Serpell, Virginia Commonwealth University, who will present on the challenges and opportunities for connecting behavioral and brain sciences to policy. She will draw from what she learned during the year she worked on the House Education and Labor Committee as an American Association for the Advancement of Science, Science and Technology Congressional Fellow sponsored by the American Educational Research Association. Dr. Serpell will share her insights on questions concerning education and health facing Congressional staffers in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and offer actionable ideas for FABBS members interested in ways their research might inform policy.
