FABBS cosponsored this National Academies of Sciences event on October 9th, along with the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences, the Consortium of Social Science Associations, and SAGE Publishing. The symposium brought together behavioral and social science researchers examining a range of consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic including mental health, educational outcomes, workforce attachment, and economic well-being. The event was moderated by Valerie Reyna, PhD, Professor of Human Development at Cornell College of Human Ecology and a former member of the FABBS Council. The symposium consisted of two sessions and breakout sessions. The first focused on education and health, featuring:

- Dr. Abram Wagner, PhD, MPH, Research Assistant Professor, Epidemiology, University of Michigan School of Public Health

The second session focused on the economy and the workforce:
